New on the IXON Marketplace: export your full machine fleet in one file
We built a new Cloud App for the IXON Marketplace that exports data across multiple machines and tags into one combined file. Available now, free to use.
The starting point: one machine at a time
Exporting historical data from IXON Cloud is straightforward when you only need it for one machine. The Data Studio export is built for exactly that: pick a machine, pick the tags, choose a time window, download.
The picture changes as soon as you want to look across a fleet. A service team comparing downtime across ten machines, an OEM feeding historical data into Power BI, an end customer pulling a year of production data into Excel: all of them have to repeat the export per machine and merge the files afterwards. For most teams, that is the point where the analysis idea quietly stalls.
What the Data Export Cloud App does
Our Data Export Cloud App removes that step. From inside the IXON Cloud environment, users can:
- Select multiple machines in one action.
- Pick and filter one or more tags per machine.
- Set a time range and aggregation interval.
- Download the result as one combined CSV or Excel file, or as separate files per machine or data source.
The app runs as a Cloud App inside IXON Cloud. Nothing to install on a local machine, no separate environment to manage. The estimated row count and download time are shown before the export starts, so users know what they are about to pull.

Who it is for
The Cloud App is built for teams that want to take a first practical step with their machine data without committing to a full data platform project:
- Service organisations comparing behaviour across an installed fleet.
- OEMs delivering basic data exports to their end customers as part of their service offering.
- End customers bringing machine data into Power BI, Excel, or another reporting tool they already use.
It is deliberately a small tool. No dashboarding, no modelling, no transformations. It does one thing well: get the right data out of IXON Cloud in a usable format, in one action.
What is in scope today, and what is next
This first release covers multi-machine and multi-tag selection, time range and interval settings, advanced filtering, and combined or separate file output. Scheduled and automatic exports are not part of this release. They sit on the roadmap and will be prioritised based on user feedback from the first months on the Marketplace.
How to get it
The Data Export Cloud App is listed for free on the IXON Marketplace. To start using it, contact us directly. We set up access for your IXON company environment and walk you through the first export.
