How TMI scaled customer analytics to 1,500+ machines

TMI designs and supplies complete lines for bagging, palletizing, and stretch-wrapping, with more than 1,500 machines operating in 40 countries. As customer demand for machine data increased, they needed a way to provide performance insights without building a separate custom solution for every deployment.

StriData helped TMI connect their IXON data directly into Power BI, so customers could combine machine data with other sources such as ERP and CRM in one environment. This gave customers direct access to real-time machine performance data, without having to request it from TMI.

The result was a more scalable service model: TMI expanded its support offering with preventive maintenance, improved remote diagnostics, and enabled analysis across multiple machines in one dashboard.

Initial setup is fast. Machine data can often be available in minutes. Structuring depends on the use case but follows a standardized approach.
Any variable, alarm, or event flowing through IXON Cloud, in real time and historically. This includes machine states, sensor values, alarm logs, and production counters. StriData can also combine this with data from other sources such as ERP or CRM inside Power BI, using the same structured layer.
